Sharia Law in Saudi Arabia and how it would be in America
What is Sharia Law?
Sharia Law is the law of Islam. It is based off of the actions and the words of Muhammad and collective reasoning and deductions of Islam.
According to Sharia Law:

Sharia Law in America
Many conservative Muslims in America are trying to win their right to allow Sharia Law into America. Court cases involving conflicts between Sharia and civil laws are spreading in America. Many states are passing laws banning the use of Sharia Law in court but are being challenged in court by Muslim groups.
The banking system in Saudi Arabia allows you to have a bank account as long as it's following the ways of Sharia Law. Muslims in America pushing for Sharia Law want the banking systems.
To attract and manage (Middle Eastern) Muslim wealth, increasing numbers of American financial institutions are becoming Sharia-complaint. This requires donating a percentage of their annual profits to Islamic organizations designated by their Sharia-compliance advisers. This worries American banks because many of Sharia-compliance advisers have been traced back by the Patriot Act to help support the terrorist back in the Middle East.
Muslim taxi drivers in America are challenging local authorities to have the right not to pick up blind passengers with seeing-eye dogs and while Muslim supermarkets are challenging their employers for the right to refuse to sell products from pigs. Both are banned in the Quarn.

Sharia Law developed several hundred years after the Prophet Muhammed's death in 632 C.E. Muhammed was considered the most pious of all believers, his life and ways became a model for all other Muslims and were collected by scholars into what is known as the hadith.
As each locality tried to reconcile local customs and Islam, hadith literature grew into distinct schools of Islamic though: Sunni, Hanbli, Maliki, Shafi'i, Hanafi; and the Shitte school, Ja'fari.
